+++EVENT SUSPENDED+++

The 4th Sant’Anna Business Game will take place in Florence Murate Idea Park on March 26-27, 2020. Since 2016, this two-day event organized by the Sant’Anna School JEBE - Junior Enterprise Business Engineering team has brought young talented people into contact with employers and managers who act as mentors or career coaches.

The 4th Sant’Anna Business Game is sponsored by Confindustria Firenze. This event attracts 80 (60 in 2019) top students from all over Europe who compete to be the best candidate for hiring managers. As hiring talent remains the top concern of employers, the selected candidates for the Business Game are required to engage in marketing, management, finance, group work, problem solving under stress, decision making and creativity.

Given the best performance of the past, the Business Game has made an effective use of links with companies to ensure that the content of the game reflects the newest development in hiring as traditional interviews and personality tests could be compared with novel algorithms to assess job candidates.

The Murate Idea Park area is the place where employers can identify talent. Participants will develop a new product or service. They will be judged on the originality of their ideas and the potential profit of their startup companies. They are required to create something innovative and to deliver the highest quality performance.

“We have a focus on innovation - said Lorenzo Mangoni and Leonardo Filippone, Sant’Anna School students and the Business Game project managers – therefore we invited successful young companies that still do their own recruitment and hiring. Managers pressing ahead and trying to fill open positions will work to determine how the job candidates fit into their organizational chart. We also focused on experiential learning and integration of digital elements to support engagement and enhance the quality of the simulations. Candidates will take the opportunity of skills tests, reference checks, personality tests, and extensive interviews to learn more about themselves before the winning candidates are offered the internship.”

Selected candidates are required to register by 7 March, 2020, via WebLinkedIn | Instagram |  Facebook | and at sabg@businessgame.jebe.it
